Sleeping two, it is the perfect retreat for couples looking to explore this unspoilt area with its hills, beaches, lochs, castles, woodlands and night skies. The white sands of Morar, Glenfinnan viaduct (Harry Potter!), Ardnamurchan and Ben Nevis are all within easy reach.

Stepping out into the extensive gardens, seeing the autumnal colours each day was lovely. The location is very peaceful and well placed for mountain walks & white sand beaches. One of the highlights was walking the path that climbs the hill/mountain next to the property. The views over Loch Moidart, surrounding mountains and out to the coast is breathtaking! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kinlochmoidart and highly recommend it. | |||

Comfortably furnished, cosy and warm, well appointed kitchen area so I could easily prepare a proper meal, which was necessary as there is nowhere very near to eat ‘out’. Having said that there was a warm welcome at the Glennuig Inn, 15 minutes drive away, and a fabulous smokehouse nearby for fish and cheeses, and a great little community shop for tinned bits, as well as some fresh. The bed was especially comfy, with lovely linen and a decently lit dressing table area which is so often missing from even the best hotels. The grounds and surrounding walks are beautiful, and our dog was in heaven! We kept him on the lead close to the house as there are free ranging chickens (which often don’t mix with terriers!), but we’re able to let him run as we moved away from the house. We loved this place and would highly recommend a visit if you are looking for peace and serenity, off the beaten track. | |||

Amazing story of the estate ( online ) dating back to Nino's (current owner) great grandfather Robert Stewart who built it in 1882. Nino has done an amazing job restoring it! Our cottage was so nicely decorated. Had all the comforts and high quality furnishings, linens and kitchen supplies. Great place for a long stay. | |||

Everything about our stay was exceptional, especially the walks around the countryside and Sarah's recommended trip by ferry and back to the Isle of Mull.
