Welcome to The Stables at Midford Castle. This beautiful home is part of the original Chapel and has recently been lovingly restored.
Situated in the gorgeous Midford Valley on the grounds of Midford Castle itself, this is one of the most picturesque and exclusive holiday lets in Bath.
From the moment you arrive you'll be surrounded by valley views and stunning architecture. Inside, two generous super-king bedrooms are perfect for four guests with a large open plan living space downstairs.
The space
The ground floor at The Stables is situated over two levels with an open plan kitchen, dining and living room space. Tastefully decorated and balanced between being both welcoming and spacious, the area is complete with a log burner for those cosy evenings in. There is plenty of natural light and the kitchen has all the amenities you'll need for your stay. Upstairs are the two super-king bedrooms and a large bathroom, complete with a freestanding bath and drench shower.

The location is magical and Scott our host could not have been more welcoming. As a big family group (9 adults, 4 babies, and 3 dogs) the accommodation was ideal - plenty of space, a comfortable sitting room, and an enormous kitchen table to settle in for turkey and all the accompaniments! We had one early problem with a leak in a bathroom, but Scott and his plumber were immediately on the scene, and not only sorted out the immediate problem but even provided us with access to another part of the property with an additional bathroom and facilities. We cannot speak highly enough of Scott and his hospitality. A return visit would certainly be on the cards! | |||

What can I say it was the most beautiful grounds You can imagine. We had the amazing weather and sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine it was like being in the South of France. The views are out of a post card. We had the most amazing time. The venue is so gorgeous and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’s really unique. The Stables/Chapel which we stayed in were comfortable and well equipped. Scott was a relaxed and friendly host. There is some building work being carried out nearby but didn't affect us at all. Highly recommend a trip to nearby Midford Farm restaurant for lunch or dinner - 10 minute walk from the Castle. | |||

Scott made everything very straight forward and the accommodation itself is beautiful and in a lovely picturesque location. This is a great base for exploring Bath and the surrounding area with taxis to the centre around £20. (V-Cars) The Hope and Anchor pub just down the hill served excellent food with a nice chilled country pub atmosphere. We had both parts of the house (either side of the courtyard/archway) which worked really well for what we were after. A massive thank you to Scott, everybody loved it and were super impressed! | |||
