has a lovely kitchen/dining room with an inglenook and a living room
with woodburner on the ground floor. The two upstairs floors feature 3
bedrooms with lovely views across the village green and church and
there is a roll top bath to sink in to at the end of the day's
exploring. A warm welcome awaits in this comfortable and cosy cottage,
there is a pub a short stroll away and a local village shop to hand.

It's so picturesque, has a great & friendly convenience store and pub, and the ruins, wow! Cockleshells is the most perfect place to stay for groups up to 6. We were blown away by both the cosiness and spaciousness. The lounge room is enormous and well stocked with dvd's. The kitchen has everything you could need. The cutlery, plates, pots & pans etc are plentiful. The three bedrooms were comfy and warm. Gorgeous bath and shower (with good power). The cottage is a delightful step back in time, with low ceilings, exposed beams, windy staircase all the way up to the twin bedroom attic. There are games, books etc. It all overlooks a very romantic graveyard (spot the cat) and church - all right in the middle of the village. We just loved everything about this stay.
