Our cosy top floor apartment is an excellent choice for romantic adventure during the day and relaxation at night time.
You can catch a glimpse of the world famous Loch Ness from the large window overlooking the Caledonian Canal towards the Great Glen.
You can use a shared, heated indoor pool with sauna and steam room. There is also a gym, tennis court and Club Lounge where you can enjoy a game of snooker, some quiet time or to mingle with new friends!

The on site Boat House Restaurant offers Scottish cuisine with a Turkish twist with the most stunning views of Loch Ness.
You can wander around the former Monks' Abbey enjoying the original architecture and features dating back to 1876 AND original features from the days of the Fort. The Jacobites once stopped here after the Battle of Culloden in 1746.

Guest access
As a guest, you will have access to facilities in the Highland Club.
Facilities include the loch-side restaurant, *heated indoor swimming pool, *tennis court, outdoor and indoor table tennis, giant chess set in the cloister gardens and of course the members room (WiFi access), situated in the Great Hall, with full size snooker table and relaxing seating area. WiFi access also available in the apartment.
*Swimming pool opening hours are 9am-6pm, sometimes extended in the summer. Please use online booking in system that is provided.
*The swimming pool complex, gym and tennis court are operated by the facilities organisation, Highland Club Management Company. The swimming pool complex and facilities are outhwith the control of Highland Club Scotland and is seperate from your holiday rental.
We will send details for the online booking system before your arrival.
Other things to note
When you arrive at the gate, press the green button and come to the end of the driveway where the road forks to the left and right. Park in one of the arrival bays on the right hand side and call or text us. You log onto the Highland Club WiFi with password 01320132. We will come outside to meet you.
Upon your arrival at The Highland Club, one of our team members will take you to your apartment. You will then be shown how to work the main items in the apartment, such as the heating and gas cooker. We will offer some brief health and safety advice and answer any questions you may have.
Our office hours are generally 10am till 8pm. Check ins after 9pm must be pre-arranged. Check in after 9pm is with £30 charge, check ins after 11pm is with £75 charge.

Plenty of walks right on the doorstep too, a personal favourite was the walk to Lady Falls, it’s a hidden gem. The apartment itself is lovely and cosy a home away from home. My only slight negative is that the window and glass on the Juliet balcony could really do with a clean so you can enjoy the beautiful views. Fernando was really helpful and gave us a guided tour. The local cafes and shops were perfect for self catering/eating out. Plus the location was superb, we personally think it was the best place on Loch Ness as it was lovely being near the locks but only 25 mins to Urquhart Castle. Would highly highly recommend | |||

The Abbey grounds are beautiful, and if you are even a little bit of a history buff you will appreciate it’s immense history. We didn’t take advantage of the pool, gym or sauna - only because we were so busy in town taking in the sites and visiting every pub to connect with the locals! Everything in town is walkable - and worth venturing out - day or night. The check in process was terrific! Communication with the Abbey Office the day before our reservation, letting them know our approximate arrival time, made for a smooth check in. We followed the instructions to call the office upon parking, and within 1-2 minutes Luis appeared ready to take us on a tour of the grounds and see us to our apartment. He made us feel right at home. I highly recommend the Abbey and this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing visit to Loch Ness! | |||
