when I was searching up unique locations, Castle like, this place popped up and I booked it immediately.
the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, we had a chance to meet the housekeeper and she was beyond wonderful.
everything was exactly as described, and we were very happy with this state. highly highly recommend.

We felt very welcome and everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the tower tour too. Dog friendly with several walks very close by. Close to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which is well worth a visit.
Jenny13 years on AirbnbNone5March 2024I chose to stay at Christina’s place primarily because my visit was based around visiting the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The fact that I could walk there was a real bonus as I did not bring a car.
My hosts were very friendly and helpful and I was very comfortable in the small room as a single traveller, which was cosy and had everything I needed. Extras like fresh milk and basic provisions for breakfast are a nice touch. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped.
Thank you for a home from home and a warm welcome.
Francesca3 years on AirbnbNone5March 2024Tina and Jasper have created a very comfortable space - the facilities are excellent with much thought having gone into what guests might need. It was quiet, warm and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend . I was also offered a tour of The Tower which was fascinating!
Fiona8 years on AirbnbNone5March 2024I got upgraded to the bigger accommodation which had been converted from the church chancel. All was beautiful with a lovely jacuzzi bath an added bonus. Very peaceful and special location.
Lee6 years on AirbnbNone5February 2024Christina and Jasper have created a great and welcoming space within the church which was ideal for a retreat while on sabbatical. Some great views and walks locally and the nearby pub was a nice place to go for an evening drink in the winter. I’ll be letting my colleagues know about this wonderful resource.
PatrickAtascadero, CaliforniaNone5August 2023Beautiful historic accommodations. Super close to the festival we were attending. Both Christina and Jasper were kind and accommodating.
SassyNashville, TennesseeNone5October 2022Beautiful location with plenty of long walks & retreat feeling at the church. Perfect in every way to recharge & relax . Perfectly peaceful.
In addition Christina offers her life coaching which I took advantage of.
