Easy access to the Brecks, broads and North Norfolk Coast. Parts of the house are 700 years old, so there are no straight lines and lots of quirks, but it’s our family home, with real history and charm.
The space
Large medieval house with 7 bedrooms: a mix of large doubles and some very large rooms with king size four posters. 2 fold-out beds are also available.
The large fully-equipped kitchen has an Aga, double electric oven and induction hob: plenty for cooking for your whole group.
As well as the dining/breakfast room with 14-seat table, there are two large sitting rooms for games etc.
Outside, there is a further 14-seat table under the pergola, plus grills for outside dining when the weather is good, set in the walled garden.
Beyond the walls, the 10acres of grounds include a naturally-filtered swimming pool (2m deep swimming area of 8m by 14m), a wood-fired sauna for 6, and a basic gym
Guest access
Guests have fully private access to all areas except cellar storage.
Other things to note
The pool is not a children's play-pool. There is *no* shallow end and access is via the jetty only. Guests will be asked to confirm they have read and accept the pool and sauna rules before their stay.
