The house sat within 2 acres of private land, overlooks 20 acres of rolling hills around the Barry Burn and the beautiful wildlife.
The accommodation is superbly furnished and suitable for a luxury getaway or a rural retreat with family and friends.

The building was lovely, the scenery was great and the amenities on site were amazing. Rare to find a place with a hot tub, steam room and Sauna. The hosts were helpful and accommodating and when we asked for details of the building for one of the guests who is in a wheelchair, the hosts provided very helpful videos that helped with our decision. | |||

It is warm and welcoming, games room and large seating area felt like a big hug. Kitchen has everything you need and there are three wine/beer coolers together with a large fridge and freezer. There are two ovens and a large Aga with constant heat making it the hub for everyone and cooking for large numbers easy. I would echo comments regarding a few upgrades required and en-suites are shared with 2 doors, not private but it is hard to find a house with so many great facilities for a large group. There is a lot to do in the area and we had a lovely meal at The Rookery. A big thanks to our hosts. We would not hesitate to return. | |||

The house was so spacious with excellent facilities in the kitchen to make sure everyone was fed. Was it spotlessly clean - no. Did we have issues with hot water/showers etc - yes, however this is an old house and is to be expected. We could not get the sound bar in the cinema room to work and unfortunately this could not be rectified during our stay, but these things happen. Any time we had issues we messaged the host, who got back to us immediately. Everyone had an amazing time, especially the kids who played hide and seek for most of the weekend - so many places to hide we had to do a headcount when we left to make sure we didn't leave anyone behind! Would highly recommend Ravensby Hall for anyone looking to have some chill time with a large group of friends or family. | |||

Fantastic outside space with hot tub which we utilised a lot with stunning views & the courtyard had the sauna & steam room. We loved the games room & the cosy kitchen with the aga. Downstairs bedroom smelt a bit musty but the rest of the bedrooms were fine. A few dusty cobwebs in the windows but it’s a huge house so to be expected. Plenty bathrooms/showers & the kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need including coffee pods, plenty glasses, crockery, cutlery etc. Hosts were helpful, responsive & friendly. | |||
