You have a stunning house in a fantastic location. I can imagine in summer it is perfect! In winter we did find it a little cold as well as the water being only lukewarm but appreciated your responsiveness to put us into an alternate bedroom with better heating. That was very much appreciated. Would definitely return in the warmer months or if there is a solution maybe to put in heaters. Thanks again. | |||

Scott has been restoring the castle site for over a decade and it's very cool to see the restoration in progress, as well as to walk among the parts that are still in ruins. As a host, Scott was friendly and very nice. Our son got sick while we were there and Scott was sympathetic and very kind. We highly recommend The Chapel and hope to go back! | |||

The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and set in the beautiful grounds of the Castle with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The Chapel is close to Bath but really peaceful and quiet. The Chapel is absolutely lovely, the big wooden table in the kitchen and the lovely comfy sofas in the lounge were great for our gathering of 6 ladies plus one large hound. There was plenty of space around to walk the dog within the grounds, on the lead, which was great as well. The Chapel has so much character and the hot tub is amazing!! Scott was super helpful and welcoming right from the start and helped us so much, he was great. We're looking forward to visiting again!! | |||

Perfect for 4 of us wanting a peaceful getaway. There was a little bit of an issue with hot water but Scott was really responsive and helped resolve it. The pictures probably convey more or a private setting than it is as it’s situated right next to another ‘castle’ and the view from this Airbnb looks over a couple of fenced goats. But if you walk a little bit you can see the view that’s featured in the photos. |
