This is one of the most spectacular AirBnB venues that we have stayed in. Very design chic, beautifully maintained, peaceful & welcoming atmosphere. It truly was a grand mansion that had been lovingly restored, with its original oil paintings. You can tell this house is family owned as there are abundant thoughtful touches throughout. Our children loved the constant supply of complimentary lemon sherbets in a big bowl on the way in/ out of the building. They loved the full sized pool table too under the stairwell. Every apartment seems to offer a different feel. We’ve already booked again for next year after leaving today. The location is superb, an easy 5 min walk into Ulverston. We were greeted by quirky live street music on Saturday morning in the village. Such a pretty little place with wonderful eateries & pubs. Ulverston is not as overrun as the other well known villages like Bowness, Ambleside etc. |
