We were very cosy, and everyone on the estate was very friendly and made us feel completely at home.There are some lovely walks nearby, and it was exciting to see the traces of beavers and other wild animals in the woods. The place has a magical air to it, and I am definitely planning on visiting again in the future.

The pictures really don't do the accommodation justice, it was such a sweet and lovely place to stay. Would definitely recommend! The honesty shop was really refreshing and sweet too

Bring food with you as there is a full kitchen. Home is very solid but old, so there are some quirks. You are on the first floor facing a walkway so not as private as you would hope. But very quiet. Surrounding animals are so charming — chickens, pigs, sheep, & beavers We saw beavers at dusk like their guidebook advised.
