Located just off The Green on Puddleduck footpath and surrounded by open countryside, The Stables is a contemporary conversion of the original Manor House stables. Accommodation includes 1 double bedroom and an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with a double bed and double sofa bed providing for up to six guests. Evenley has an artisan coffee shop, pub and farm shop and makes the perfect base for visiting Silverstone, Oxford, Bicester and the Cotswolds.
The space
The Stables is a contemporary and characterful open space with a vaulted ceiling and rustic wooden beams.
Stable doors open into a large, open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with zoning used to create a more private area for a double bedroom. A bathroom and double bedroom lead off the kitchen and a double sofa bed in the living area ensures plenty of space for up to six guests. New furnishings include a large L-shaped sofa, double beds, fitted kitchen and shower room. Kilim rugs, wicker baskets and industrial lighting add a sense of style. Guests have an outside seating area and parking for two cars.

We came for a weekend away for my mother-in-laws birthday, Mark was on hand with recommendations for local walks, attractions, and restaurants. this made us stay a lot easier and more comfortable with less stress of finding things to do.

Lovely village setting with choice of walks straight from the door for our little dog. Excellent communication from welcoming host Mark throughout, including recommendations of places to visit. We enjoyed Sunday lunch at The Red Lion, just a stroll across the village green and the chocolate brownies at the Post Office are the best. Evenley Wood Gardens worth a visit and further afield Stowe Gardens and Bletchley Park was a highlight for us. We were very comfortable and would definitely recommend a stay in this AirB&B.

The village has both a friendly coffee shop/post office store and pub a short walk away.
Just perfect for our long weekend!

So comfortable and warm as the weather was sunny by very cold. Mark was very welcoming and made sure he was available for a chat. Everything we needed even board games to keep our granddaughter amused when she visited. Thank you for making our New Year visit so enjoyable. See you again soon.

The Christmas decorations, fresh milk, and chocolate were lovely touches. Mark was so welcoming and helpful, suggesting a wonderful local walk. A very happy holiday.

One of the loveliest conversions I have stayed in, as it has retained all the character of the old stables but also has every comfort and convenience. It was warm and cosy and very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking all my meals in house. There is a farm shop just 15 mins walk away that has the most fantastic selection of quality meat and veg as well as everything else you might need. The village of Evenley is gorgeous and quintessentially English with scope for plenty of country walks. Mark the host was friendly and very helpful. A lovely peaceful getaway, just what was needed!
