Ffarm Country House is a marvellous Grade II listed manor house dating from 1706. With many unusual architectural features inside and out the Ffarm has a wealth of character and charm. Now operated as a boutique hotel, the Ffarm has a total of 10 en-suite guest rooms of which the Venice Suite is the most spacious.
Situated within 2 acres of private grounds in the quiet village of Betws-yn-Rhos it provides the perfect spot to base an exploration of the North Wales countryside.
The space
The Venice suite is the largest of the guest rooms at the Ffarm and boasts a total of 50sqm of accommodation. It is situated on the first floor of the Ffarm with views to the front and to the gardens to the side. The 6ft super king bed is supplemented by two day beds that can be configured either as sofas or as standard single beds suitable for children. Please let us know if you require the singles making up as beds or as sofas. A travel cot is also available for any additional infants in the party - simply let us know if this is required. There are no additional charges for an infant under 2 years of age.
The private en-suite is very large with a roll top bath and a separate shower cubicle.
Complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits are available in the room. The room has a TV and a DVD player and has access to an extensive library of DVDs.
The maximum capacity of the suite is two adults plus two children up to the age of 15 (plus one infant if under 2yrs).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The advertised rate is a room only rate on the basis of two adults sharing. Breakfast is not included in the room rate but guests may enjoy breakfast at the Ffarm at additional cost (£5 per person for cold buffet of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, fruit juices, toast & jams plus unlimited tea & coffee or add a full Welsh cooked breakfast for just an extra £4 per person). The Cafe at the Silver Birch Golf Club also serves breakfast.
Guest access
There is a guest lounge on the ground floor which has a licensed "honesty" bar from which drinks can be purchased. There is also seating in the main hall where guests can relax in front of a roaring fire.
The Ffarm also boasts a restaurant where we serve breakfast and also evening meals (evening meals must be booked in advance and the restaurant is not open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings).
From summer 2020 a billiard room will be available with a 3/4 size table - perfect to enjoy a evenings snooker or pool.

The place is exactly as it looks and how it’s described - if anything, it’s more impressive when you see it (the bathroom in the Venice room was huge!). We appreciated the nice selection of tea, coffee and biscuits too (the toddler was quite chuffed with the latter!) in the room, and everywhere was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve ever had! Everything was delicious and Susan was lovely with our little boy at breakfast. We’ve both said we will be back again, hopefully with my parents and maybe around Christmastime as I reckon it’ll be equally lovely and cosy during the winter months. Thanks again Susan and Stewart! A great little (well, big!) spot from which to explore Wales. | |||

Susan and Stewart are excellent hosts; so accommodating and friendly. The bathroom was amazing, with more than enough storage and a dreamy clawfoot tub (ask about the timing of hot water). Our room was fresh and tidy, with pristine, crisp bed linens and good quality fluffy white towels. There was a nice continental breakfast available for purchase, but we opted to spend a few more pounds for the hot breakfast which was worth every penny/pence. It’s the perfect place to stay while visiting the charming town of Conwy and Conwy Castle which was built in the late 1780s and looks even better than the photos you can find online. It’s like your childhood fairytales meets “The Curious Garden” picture book. | |||
