The West Wing at Duchray Castle is a Victorian annex located to the West side of the main Castle building. It was renovated in 2017 and is now a bright and airy two bedroom space with a large open plan kitchen/living room with under floor heating fueled by a renewable biomas boiler.

Set in the 80 acre estate of Duchray Castle the location is secluded, rural and scenic but is within 30 miles of Stirling and Glasgow making it highly accessible. Guests can enjoy all that is on offer from the surrounding park and woodlands as well as the tourist attractions of The Trussachs and Loch Lomond National parks.

Highlights were feeding the hens and collecting eggs, spotting a pine marten and a walk along Loch Long. Only slight downside is the long forestry track to get to the property, but it does make it very peaceful and hidden away. | |||

She introduced us to all the animals on the grounds, and explained the work that had gone into making Duchray Castle such a superb place to vacation.
