Overview
Warwick Castle's Knight's Village offers a uniquely immersive experience: the chance to stay overnight on the grounds of one of England's most iconic medieval fortresses. Rather than a traditional hotel, accommodation takes the form of themed woodland lodges and glamping tents, each designed to transport families and groups into a world of knights, princesses, and medieval adventure. The woodland lodges are set among the trees of the castle's parkland, each sleeping up to five guests in comfortable beds with themed medieval décor. The interiors are cosy and well-equipped, with heating, en-suite bathrooms, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Alternatively, the medieval glamping tents offer a more rustic (but still comfortable) experience, with proper beds, lighting, and access to a shared amenity block. Both options include breakfast and, crucially, two days' entry to Warwick Castle itself. Warwick Castle is one of Britain's best-loved attractions, and an overnight stay allows guests to experience it at its most magical. After the day visitors have left, Knight's Village guests enjoy exclusive evening entertainment, which may include fire shows, medieval battles, and storytelling around campfires. Waking up on the castle grounds and having early access before the crowds arrive is an experience that delights children and adults alike. Beyond the castle, the location in the heart of Warwickshire provides easy access to a wealth of attractions. Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon is just ten miles away, the elegant spa town of Royal Leamington Spa is even closer, and the Cotswolds begin just thirty minutes to the south. Warwick Castle's Knight's Village proves that castle stays don't have to be stuffy or expensive — this is medieval magic made accessible and fun for the whole family.

Castle History
Warwick Castle was originally built by William the Conqueror in 1068 as a wooden motte-and-bailey castle. It was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century and has been continuously occupied for over 950 years. The castle is associated with Richard Neville, "Warwick the Kingmaker," the most powerful nobleman in England during the Wars of the Roses. Now managed by Merlin Entertainments, the Knight's Village was added in 2012 to offer overnight stays.
